Mrs. Ambria Contessa

Mrs. Ambria Contessa joined JPLIS in August 2024.  Mrs. Contessa earned her Master of Science and certification in School Counseling at Kutztown University in 2016 and her Bachelor of Science and certification in Secondary English Education at Clarion University in 2011.  She has worked as a teacher, an educational researcher, a mental health therapist, and began counseling in schools in 2018.  Mrs. Contessa has two children and loves music and the outdoors.

Mrs. Lauren Devonshire Kocis 

Mrs. Lauren Devonshire Kocis joined Southern Lehigh School District in 2019 and was the school counselor at Hopewell Elementary School before coming to JPLIS in August 2025. Mrs. Kocis earned a Master of Science in School Counseling from Kutztown University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to SLSD, she was a Kindergarten - 7th grade school counselor at Circle of Seasons Charter School.  Mrs. Kocis' favorite free time activity is traveling with her family.
